Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Lead Pipeline TD to join our VFX Team.

Wendell and Wild is a stop motion feature film directed by Henry Selick and featuring the voice talents of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.  The production is located just outside of Portland, Oregon.

What You’ll Do:

  • Optimize the existing pipeline.
  • Build automation tools for remote artists (especially Nuke Compositors). 
  • Transfer and ingestion from/for outsourcing and tools for interfacing with the stage and the camera motion control pipeline.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong Python coding skills, bonus C++.
  • Working knowledge of VFX software including Maya, Nuke, Houdini and ShotGrid. Bonus: Blender, Redshift renderer.
  • Experience with Deadline pipeline and cloud rendering solutions.
  • Experience with Dragon Frame and stop-motion control is a huge bonus.
  • Working knowledge of color pipelines.
  • Assist in troubleshooting Nuke render errors.
  • Writing & maintaining technical documentation.
  • Problem solving during the production and post-production processes.
